Legend (Monohull 60' Team FONCIA Plan VPLP - Verdier 2010) :

1/ THE RAIL : Circular rail of the mainsail to control the sail

2/ THE MAINSAIL : Principal sail of the boat which is make of three reefs in order to reduce the surface if the weather is too bad.

3/ THE "MOULIN A CAFÉ" : Based in the center of the cockpit, it serves to operate the four winches enable to up or adjust sails.

4/ THE KEEL : Swiveling, It move with an hydraulic jack and can be angle of about 40° in each side; 

5/ THE RUDDER BLADES : They permit to steer the boat. The are operated by the skipper or the automatic pilot.

6/  THE FINS : The two lateral fins can be moved from the cockpit. These appendages immersed permit the boat advance against the wind. 

7/ THE BULKHEADS : Several bulkheads divide the boat in watertight compartments. In case of a collision, they stop water in just one compartment.

8/ THE COCKPIT CAP : A protection which protects the skipper if the weather is too bad. It  protects the part where is centralized all the steerages.

9/ THE RIGGING : Mast-wing keeps by two outriggers to favor the aerodynamic. 

10/ THE LIFE CELL : Space where there are bed, kitchen, food stockage, materials and all navigational instruments.
